License and Certification Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. Valid Georgia Class C driver's license required.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field required.

Experience Qualifications: Seven years of progressively responsible experience coordinating operations in a technical, industrial, commercial, research, or business environment, required, including a minimum of three years in a supervisory role. Experience with printing, production or distribution operations preferred.

Skills Qualifications: Ability to collaborate with individuals and groups to effectively coordinate projects across departmental and divisional lines; knowledge of a broad range of technical, managerial, logistical and business principles, concepts, amd applications; ability to research a diverse spectrum of topics to resolve problems and ensure processes are in compliance with applicable regulations; knowledge of a variety of federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to environmental, chemical, and worker safety hazards; excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of multi-site warehousing and distribution; knowledge of offset and digital printing, binding, and laminating; ability to develop short and long-range plans and budgets; ability to measure, evaluate, and control processes against strategic plans and goals to achieve established departmental objectives; ability to develop contracts within areas of responsibility, control related expenses, establish professional partnerships with outside contractors and vendors, and represent Gwinnett County Public Schools; effective computer skills with databases, supply chain management, asset management, and related application software.

Primary Responsibilities: Provide leadership in the Environmental, Print, and Supply Services department and assist in the direction and continuous improvement of all departmental operations.

1. Provide leadership and direction for the district's supply, assessment, and instructional resource distribution and inventory services.

2. Provide leadership and direction for the district's property distribution, surplus recovery, and records storage services.

3. Provide leadership and direction for the district's printing services.

4. Evaluate performance and attributes of assigned personal, and hold them accountable to effectively perform job duties to expected standards. Provide necessary training to improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities to a proficient level.

5. Assess, modify, create, implement, and communicate processes and practices to continually improve organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

6. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations for assigned operations.

7. Develop and manage department contracts for services, supplies, parts, and equipment related to assigned operations.

8. Make recommendations for and maintain fiscal accountability of assigned budgets,

9. Assist in leading other services and operations of the department, when required.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to touch, handle, feel, and/or reach. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
