JOB SUMMARY: The Enterprise Application Specialist will provide assistance for the effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and support of Enterprise Application Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Business Administration with a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in computer systems/products; Minimum of five (5) years of successful data systems or administrative experience; In lieu of degree, experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis; Proficiency in the operation of computers, word processing applications, SQL databases, SQL scripting, and additional software comparable to those currently used in the school division; Possess valid Georgia driver’s license and be insurable for the use of DCSS vehicles; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have excellent technology and communication skills; Strong customer service leadership and interpersonal skills; Ability to train assigned support staff; Ability to solve problems for customers in a courteous manner; Ability to establish priorities, work independently to meet objectives without supervision. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides day-to-day general support to Enterprise Application System(s) end-users; Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions related to the Enterprise Application Systems; Supports the data integrity of the district’s Enterprise Application Systems by providing initial analysis of data integration and extract needs and processes; Integrates instructional applications with Active Directory, LDAP, or other district databases or authentication services; Investigates requirements (hardware, software, etc.) to support instructional applications; Analyzes security and functionality of existing and proposed software and collaborates findings with Instructional Administrators; Communicates with staff, vendors or consultants to facilitate problem resolutions; Maintains applications by testing, communicating, scheduling and applying updates; Creates documentation as required; Performs other such duties as needed or assigned by the supervisor.

SALARY RANGE: Competitive salary and excellent benefits package in accordance with the DCSS Compensation Guide.
