License and Certification Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. Current professional HR certification issued by HRCI (PHR or SPHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree prefered

Experience Qualifications: 10 years of progressively responsible human resources experience with at least 5 years in managing or leading a talent acquisition function. Experience building a team to execute the Talent Management strategy. Experience developing and managing employer branding.

Primary Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of the recruitment function for Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). This role requires demonstrated expertise and experience in talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting. The Recruitment Director is responsible for the development and implementation of the district?s long-term talent acquisition strategy and ensuring a robust talent pipeline to meet the growth and staffing needs of the disctrict. This Director will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing recruitment initiatives, practices and processes. This role will analyze nationwide, regional and local labor markets and trends and work with district leaders to determine current and future talent needs. The Recruitment Director provides daily oversite of the recruitment and retention function and team and reports to the Executive Director, Talent Management.

1. Develops and leads a team of high-functioning recruitment professionals. 2. Designs and develops effective recruitment strategies to deliver top talent and meet the district’s long and short-term staffing goals.
3. Analyzes nationwide, regional, local, and K-12 education markets to develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
4. Coordinates with district leaders to understand current and future talent needs.
5. Develops and implements innovative sourcing strategies to ensure the strength of the talent pipeline.
6. Develops, hosts, and participates in recruitment events to increase the GCPS’s visibility and build a robust talent pool.
7. Initiates, develops, and manages external partnerships with colleges, job boards, vendors, and recruitment agencies.
8. Collaborates with the Communications and Engagement Office to ensure consistent and appropriate recruitment branding.
9. Utilizes social media and other brand marketing tools to attract talent and share the GCPS vision.
10. Develops, analyzes, and reports on standard recruitment metrics to evaluate processes and ensure recruitment targets are achieved.
11. Defines tracks, analyzes, and leverages recruitment metrics to monitor and improve performance.
12. Establishes recruitment goals and KPIs to drive success on the recruitment team.
13. Daily oversite of recruitment function.
14. Management of applicant tracking platform.
15. Ensures recruiting processes, procedures, and practices are consistent with the district's operational standards.
16. Manages portions of the district's onboarding process for all staff positions.
17. Collaborates with other departments to collaboratively onboard new hires.
18. Ensures the candidate experience is consistent with GCPS standards and expectations.
19. Performs other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
