Duties: Diagnose and treat
medical conditions, diseases,
injuries of internal organ systems in adults not requiring surgical intervention. Treatment through long-term, comprehensive care.
Provide medical care consistent with internal medicine.
Minimum Requirements: Doctor of Medicine from accredited U.S. Medical school (or foreign
equivalent); passage of all parts
of the U.S. Medical Licensing
Examination; certification by
Educational Commission for
Foreign Medical Graduates;
completion of a 3 year U.S.
residency in internal medicine; board eligibility/certification in
internal medicine; and active
Georgia medical license.
